AK60-TransAlaska Pipeline near Paxson, Chugach Mtns
The TransAlaska Pipeline is above ground wherever permafrost is present. This section is near the Richardson Highway on the south side of the Chugach Mountains near Paxson, a small community near the juncture of the Denali and Richardson Highways.
