Tonto National Monument, Roosevelt, Arizona, approaches the northern limit for giant Saguaro Cactus (Carnegiea gigantea). These cactus do not get their "arms" (branches) until they are about 50 years old and they can live to be 200. A full grown Saguaro can weight up to six tons after an infrequent rainstorm.
